Post & Perimeter Camp
Who: (Entering) 3rd - 9th grade; Boys & Girls
When: June 29 & 30; 9:00am - 12:00pm

Why: The entire focus on this camp will be on building offensive skills, with shooting the basketball being the primary emphasis. Comprehensive shooting instruction will focus on hand mechanics and footwork. Tips for developing a quicker shooting release and improving shooting range will be emphasized.

Topics to be covered with Big Men position work will include pre- and post-catch footwork, catching the ball, post moves for scoring on the block, face-up offense, reading and beating double teams, ball screen offense and offensive rebounding.

Guard play instruction will include handling full court defensive pressure, pushing the ball in the fast break, using the dribble to create offense, moving without the ball including the setting and receiving of screens and ball screen offense.

The Perimeter and Post Camp will give players the opportunity to sharpen their fundamentals as well as complete challenging drills that will help take their game to the next level. Players will work on offense, defense, and rebounding skills. In addition this camp will also provide a faith based character building skull session that is geared to build more than just the basketball player.
